Taxation Law - Australia: Tax Bills

Commonwealth Tax Bills

What is a Bill?   According to the APH website, a Bill is "a proposal for a law or a change to an existing law.  A Bill becomes law (an Act) when agreed to in identical form by both houses of Parliament and assented to by the Governor-General."

Commonwealth Bills Digests

Bills Digests are produced by the Parliamentary Library to provide members of Parliament with an overview of the background and purpose of a Bill.
