Key Databases

Other Databases

What is a database?

Databases contain information about published works.

  • These can be journals, conference proceedings, book reviews, book chapters, reports and magazines.
  • You can search by keywords, authors, titles, subject, etc, to find out where relevant articles, chapters or essays have been published.
  • Some databases contain the full text, while others only provide the reference (details of the publication).
  • Once you have the reference, check Library Search to see if the Library holds the journal.
