TOPIC OVERVIEWS

If you are looking for background information on a topic, or a brief summary of current knowledge, the American Psychological Association and the Australian Psychological Society topics pages are an excellent place to start.

They cover the major areas of psychology research, and each topic has an explanation and links to a mixture of resources such as news items, key journal articles, and books. Each topic has been compiled and endorsed by the Association and the links lead you to freely available online material.
