Anyone with an Australian residential address can request a free membership card from the NLA. The National Library is based in Canberra, so make sure that you select the ‘post it’ delivery option. It should take between 5-10 working days for your card to be delivered.
Members of the Library can access several online databases via the NLA’s eResources page. The NLA’s eResources page can be used by individuals for “research and study purposes” and can supplement the online resources available via the University Library.
Find which Australian libraries hold material you need. Tick the National Bibliographic Database (ANBD), Library of Congress and OCLC WorldCat options to do an international search.
