The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) is responsible for a national curriculum K to 12 in specified learning areas, a national assessment program, a national data collection and reporting program supporting analysis, evaluation, research, resource allocation as well as accountability and reporting.
