Referencing Tips
- Reference consistently: don't switch referencing styles mid-assignment!
- Reference thoroughly: acknowledge other people's ideas as well as direct quotations.
- Reference as you go: inserting references after you've finished an assignment is time-consuming and frustrating!
Harvard 3 Referencing Style
The Faculty of Health Sciences uses the Harvard 3 referencing style (this is a modified version of Harvard). Download the Faculty of Health Sciences Guidelines for presentation of assignments.
Please note that different faculties use different referencing styles - it is always wise to confirm which referencing style to use with either your lecturer or tutor before submitting assignments!

EndNote is a piece of software which enables you to store and manage your references.
