The School of Medical Sciences uses a number of referencing styles, Vancouver and Harvard being the most popular. Check with your supervisor to see which is required for your thesis or document.

Plagiarism & Academic Honesty
Plagiarism is when the words, ideas or recorded thoughts of another are passed off as your own without the original source being properly cited (referenced).
